Frederic Stahl (University of Reading): Abstract

Rapid flows of data challenge our state-of-the art processing and communication infrastructure, hence real-time algorithms that analyse data streams on the fly and can adapt to concept drifts are desired. The term concept drift refers to changes of the pattern encoded in the stream over time. This talk introduces the recent development of an expressive technique for inducing predictive rule sets from real-time streaming data.
